Polluted our air once again (100 word challenge).

I was walking down the street when I saw a sweet, little puppy, HE LOOKED FREZZING! I had a little ponder around to see if anybody was looking for a puppy, but as far as I could see not a single child or adult looked not even the slightest concerned. Suddenly I had this urge to pick him up, I felt this tingle down my spine. I took him home too see if mum would approve…

At home dad was on his phone… as usual. “Where’s mum?” I asked a little concerned.                                                                                                                         “She’s in the garden…” dad yawned “WHAT THE-”

To be continued…

Hi Demi. How fantastic that you’ve made an awesome decision to write. I love how you describe your character’s spine tingling when they pick up the puppy. Can’t wait to find out if Mum’s reaction is different to Dad’s. Did you mean ‘ponder’ or ‘wander’ I wonder.

    Hello Demi,

Well done on writing your first blog post. Your story is very moving, and it is understandable that you would want to take the puppy home. Wanting to do some something good is how many people feel about climate change too.

Excellent first blog Demi-Rose. I loved the variety of punctuation and the build up of tension.
    Well done!

    Hello Demi,
WOW, how fantastic it was to eee your first ever blog on the site! I love the way you describe feeling concerned when you discover mum isn’t around. You’ve also made brilliant use of inverted commas and punctuation that makes this easy to read.
Don’t forget that if you want your blog to be read and commented on by the 100 word challenge community across the world it has to relate to this weeks promptvwhich was the photo of the smoking chimneys. However, I like the fact you have come up with your own story and I hope the school community who read the blogs are as excited as I am to find out if the dog can stay or not.
    Well done,
