The Hand…

In 1980 a boy went missing named Jeffery Wheeler. It has not been proven as to why or how he went missing; all we know is he is missing. A few years before hand, he kept on telling his parents about a creepy hand that grabbed him…

“Sweetie, bed time!” “Mum noooo. The hand will get me!” “Who told you that silly, there’s no such thing as monsters, see.” His mum turns on the light and points around the room checking for what Jeffery calls The Hand. “But Mum…” “No, stop with this nonsense, get into bed!” “Ok…” It was that night that Jeffery Wheeler went missing…

Oli, i think your blog is really intriguing and love the use of ellipses to make us wonder.

A very readable story with plenty of suspense and intrigue. Going back in time gave the story depth, a clever method to capture the reader’s imagination. Well done Oliver!

    Hi Oli,
I have only one thing to say to you, MAKE A PART TWO!!! I love it. Especially when the boy gets taken away by the hand. Please make a part two.

Oli, what a wonderful and very original story. I particularly like the way you subtly take us back in time. I agree that the facial expresssion on that hand looks particularly creepy and the kind that would grab; not the sort you would want a cuddle from!
Keep blogging – it really makes me smile.
