It was such a lovely surprise to find your post; we’ve had so few blogs published this term because of Covid.
The beginning of your story sounds like it’s going to be like a fairy tale or folk tale and I suspect there will be more to come. You made it interesting to read by describing how Mazie said things but you also give us some subtle clues on how she was feeling from her body language. Well done.
