Today I’m going to do a factual blog again on how bees save the planet and more . Remember that I’m basically doing 10% of this google is doing 90% of this, so here we go. Scientists have long believed that bees first appeared about 120 million years ago — but previous bee fossil records dated back only about 65 million years. Danforth and Poinar’s fossil provides strong evidence for a more remote ancestry.  Bees do not have ears, however, they are able to pick up sound, so yes, in a sense they can ‘hear‘ but not through the use of ears. One bee has to fly about 90,000 miles – three times around the globe – to make one pound of honey. The average bee will make only 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime. A honey bee visits 50 to 100 flowers during a collection trip. A honey bee can fly for up to six miles, and as fast as 15 miles per hour. Why bees are important. Globally there are more honey bees than other types of bee and pollinating insects, so it is the world’s most important pollinator of food crops. It is estimated that one third of the food that we consume each day relies on pollination mainly by bees, but also by other insects, birds and bats.

That’s the blog and remember that google done 90% of this and I only done 10% so this is also a factual blog byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
